Event Format Overview
The competition consists of three rounds:
- Round 1 – Dual Time Trial
- Round 2 – Elimination Racing
- Round 3 – Final Race
A total of 20 selected pilots will compete.
Round 1 – Dual Drone Time Trial
- Pilots will race in pairs (2 drones at a time).
- Each pilot will get 2 timed runs.
- The best valid lap time will be recorded.
- Pilots will be ranked based on their fastest time.
Top 12 fastest pilots advance to Round 2.
If a pilot fails to complete a run (DNF), they will be given one additional attempt. Maximum of 2 valid attempts per pilot. If both attempts result in DNF, the pilot is eliminated.
Round 2 – Elimination Racing
- Pilots will race head-to-head in grouped heats.
- Each heat will consist of 3 to 4 pilots, depending on scheduling.
- The first pilot to complete the course in each heat advances.
- Remaining pilots are eliminated.
Heats will continue until 6 pilots remain. Frequency allocation and video channel separation will be strictly managed.
If a pilot crashes and cannot complete the race, they are eliminated from that heat. If technical failure occurs before race start (verified by race officials), one restart may be granted.
Round 3 – Final Race
- The final 6 pilots will compete in head-to-head racing.
- Pilots will race simultaneously on the track.
- The first pilot to complete the course and cross the finish line wins the championship.
- If a pilot fails to complete the race, one restart may be granted at the discretion of the race officials.
One additional attempt will be granted. If both attempts result in DNF, the pilot is disqualified from final ranking.
If two pilots record identical best times, the second-best time will decide the winner. If still tied, a sudden-death timed run will determine the champion.
