hi i'm Nikhil Sudhan J.
and i'm building the future of defence software from Bharat. hardware is cool and expensive, but software is what makes it more efficient, and that's where work needs to be done.
right now i'm working on project pluto, an ai co-pilot for drones that helps soldiers fly smarter missions without the tech headache.
at first, i didn't think this was a big deal.
but then i looked around.
teams in defence labs were still drawing waypoint maps manually. fpv pilots were mastering scripts, configs, and random hacks. everyone was working with what they had for the missions.
it was obvious: people already wanted ai copilots. they just didn't have one.
project pluto
uav aerial system with ai co-pilot
how it works
in pluto, you can literally talk to the drone.

"scan this area" → it builds a coverage path.

"take off and fly to that hill" → instant waypoints. done.

right now it works with ardupilot. support for px4 is coming soon.

the backend is solid, ui still rough (i'm a backend developer).
what's next:
- efficient output
- offline ai models
- object detection
- fpv drone integration
be my beta tester
the beta version is available now! try project pluto and help me build the future of drone ai.
the bigger picture
this isn't just about drones.
this is about making defence systems smarter with ai, so Bharat can lead the future battlefield.
the team

this can be lit us
right now, it's just me.
but i'm looking for my steve wozniak (co-founder), a cracked engineer who wants to help build this from zero. and a frontend developer pls
also, if you're a drone hobbyist and wanna try pluto with your own hardware, reach out. i'd love to see it flying outside the lab too.
first flight test coming soon. stay tuned.
